I'll be in Ft. Worth for a show in October. I have an off day on Wednesday and was looking for somewhere to turn my horse out at Tuesday evening through Thursday morning. Has anyone delt with Park Ridge Stables? It's pretty close to the Equestrian Center and has over all good reviews.

I am from this area and have heard good things. I would suggest that if you are not allowed to turn out in a pasture that you bring some stall wash with you. This stable has a very high turn over rate for horses since most only stay the night.

OK...thank you!! I thought about that also. Just one more thing to add to my list. I was trying to find a referral to a near by ranch that wasn't used so much but haven't had any luck. This is the best I could find.

Oh...I didn't even think of that. We are actually staying in a hotel at the stockyards. I just thought it was a place to for eating and entertainment. I'll look into that. Thank you!

Yes the Stockyards will accomadate you as well. I only know of ranches in Weatherford that are boarding facilities. That's about a 30-45min drive from the stockyards depending on traffic. The facility I am thinking of is ran by a Vet and his wife who is a trainer. His Veterinary practice I believe is located on the same grounds as the barns. Nice people.
