Does this stuff stay in the hoof for a full 5 to 6 weeks?  We tried it on my mare the other day and it helped her immensely.  However, two weeks into the packing already fell out…  Is this just me or generally an issue?
Thank you,

Did your shoer put the netting in under the shoe ?
As long as it has the netting to adhere to I haven't had a problem with it staying in 4-6 weeks.

The one time I used it my farrier put a piece of screening (like the stuff from a screen door) under the shoe and nailed it on. Then applied Equipak under and through the screen and trimmed off the excess screen when we were done.

Yep, we used with pads but I've seen it with screening as well.

Thank you. I think he did use the netting, but I know he was short on supplies for this. I just asked him that very day to do something different with my horse, as she has been off for a long time and nothing else has worked so far. This fixed it, at least for now.

If she was outside where her feet got damp that might have caused the problem.
I invested in my own gun and always keep a tube of Equithane and some foam boards so I can re-apply if I need to. If a horse needs it in there I'm no going to let him be without it ;-)
