Markel- I have had very good luck with them, they are easy to work with, website is comprehensive, and they are a sponsor of NRCHA.  They covered the stem procedure my good horse had 3 years ago, I was amazed at this.

Horseinsurancenow.com is who I have had my insurance through with no problems. It is through the Hartford company and I have had trouble with other companies. Be sure to check out all the details...

I also should say my vets office says they are one of the easiest to deal with verse some of the other companies.
