We have a room reserved at the South Point during the NFR. There is a another couple going with us and idealy we would like to have two separate rooms. Everything is now booked up at South Point. What are your reccomendations for hotels very close to South Point?

What dates are you going?
I would get put on a waiting list as they get many cancellations and is why they now have a month out cancellation without paying for the first night. The first weekend is always easier to get a room then the last weekend. I would go ahead and make a reservation somewhere else that you can cancell a day or two before to cover your bases.
There is a time share place next door. I can't remember the name of it. I'll try to find out.

TwistedK - 2017-07-17 10:47 AM We've stayed at the one connected to Bass Pro (don't remember the name) it was clean and quiet. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.
