Expert Posts: 1898	I am at a loss! I need ideas! I was voluntold to do the junior rodeo at our fair this year and I want to change the events around a little in the 8-12 year old class due to the way the all around was determined in the past and an unfair advantage to win the all around for the 8 and 9 year olds in this class (they had an extra class that the 10, 11 and 12 year olds could not compete in) The fair board would like to keep as many events horseless as we can, which is lame in my opinion, it's a rodeo. What are some horseless events we could consider for this year? Right now for this age group we have Barrel Racing Calf Riding Calf paint Branding (on foot) I need one more preferably horseless event. Unless there is something really fun that you would suggest that's horse back that I could pitch to the board. I also need award ideas under $30!

Expert Posts: 1898	Thanks everyone for your in put. We decided to go with Run Ride and Lead as their 4th event with a dummy roping class for 8-10 year olds that doesn't count for the all around. They will either love me or hate me for it, we'll see.
