I am going to assume he contracts out certain horses to other people who work for him. If I was your friend I would ask him if he himself will ride the horse or if someone else will ride the horse. I would also ask to drop in once a week to watch on the sidelines as the person(s) ride the horse to make sure the horse is progressing correctly. |

| He’s my dad. He’s one of the worlds top cutting horse trainers and one of the best horse trainers living today. Trouble is finding him when he’s not slammed with horses to train. If you have a chance to put a horse with him, I would take it. |

So I'll just say it...
1.) I'm a Google Sleuth. And If Googel Don't know 'em, ain't nobody know him. 2.) Name 5 horses that I can look up right now that are currently competing and winning in cutting. 3.) At what point in his career did he compete in NCHA? I know a few people that have won 13k in one cutting and can name drop if I must.... And they don't claim half the things Mr. Jerry does on his now untraceable website. 4.) I mean no disrespect, but what qualifications with actual hard proof evidence do you have that your dad is all the things he says he is? Names, comepetitions, articles, etc to back up claims are what the OP was looking for.
Now.... I think I'll grab my popcorn. |

| I just can't fault a person for sticking up for their dad or mom. Doesn't mean I believe them or won't research what they say if I am looking for whatever service/product they claim to make/sell. But I just can't bring myself to slam someone sticking up for their own. |

I didn't see his website so I don't know what he professed to be ...that being said, I think this is a little short sighted .... I know quite a few "trainers" that haven't won a dime in the arena but can darn sure train a good horse.....I did see where he HAS sold some "high dollar" horses at sales .... |

Defense Attorney for The Horse
Location: Claremore, OK | I didn’t look at all of the videos. I don’t want my horse over broke at the pole. I don’t want him hinged, I want him soft in the ribs. Being able to tuck nose to chest doesn’t impress me. Hinging a horse at speed is even less impressive.
I don’t want him so numb I’ve got to pull on him a bunch and drive him with spurs, not leg, like the SBD colt .
Too much of everything .
I think the OP needs to watch all of the videos available and decide if that type of mechanics is something that fits his style. |

He left a stud tied out at Lucky dog last night. Horse was put in a stall with hay and water and locked so he couldn't take the horse without paying for stall and shavings. He cut the lock off and skipped out. |

Yep, I was taking a lesson and my trainer was on an outside horse that was taught to tuck his nose to his chest. He used it as a maneuver to get away from the bit, she had to work with him a long time to teach him different. |

Since hes a trainer you would think he would have known better then to leave a stud unattended while tied up.. |

The facility has a no tie out rule. They didn’t put the horse up until midnight. It appears he intended to leave it there all night. |

| You would have thought he’d know better than to skip w/o paying. Maybe one of those people who do what’ they dang well please whether they know better or not. Personally, not my kind of people.

We are having brutal heat that we usually do not get til late July. The heat index this past weekend was 110-today’s was 118 - the humidity plus this heat is awful |

True about the heat, but you don’t cut the lock and skip out without paying, either. No excuse for the failure to pay. |
