and I love it-sits you like you are riding bareback.  I think I am going to sell  my 2 Caldwell's and get another one for my other horse.

I like the look of that too. It looks like it would fit like a glove on the right horse. It seems like minimal material without looking like it's missing something. Very nice.

It looks great! How did you determine which tree to get? Are there a few different trees to choose from?

Thank you, I sent him pictures of my horse.  I don't think there are a lot of trees to choose from.  I saw on FB they do molds when they go to a show.  It was a pretty big leap of faith that it would fit :). I just got back home from vacation and am going to try it on my long back lean one tonight, the horse I bought it for and was having a hard time fitting is short back and round-everything rolled on him-both my Caldwell's, Tami Semas, 2 different types of Martins, double J. This tree is more about the flare and not so much width of the gullet.

I love mine! I got the fbn8 because that's what Brian fit my mare to at a show, and it really freed her up. The fbn6 is supposed to be the most versatile tree they have, but the 8 fits both of my mare, I tried to ride my gelding in it before we sold him, but took it off as soon as I put it on him because the tree was too flat for him and it bridged, so he would have needed the 6. I hope you love it! It took me a few rides and runs to get use to it, but now I absolutely love mine!

Not to hijack the post, but can someone please tell me about roohides? What makes them so great or different or etc?

It is on a cutting tree and sits you more in the saddle instead of on it if that makes sense. I tried a Tami Semas and 2 different Martins-all felt like I was perched on top of the horse -like sitting on a fence rail.
The roo feels like you are "hugging" your horse with your legs, it helps me say square and balanced -and I need the help :). Watch the video above where they explain their tree.

That's gorgeous. I'd love a saddle that feels like riding bareback, considering I've ridden bareback exclusively for the last year!
