How do we keep our faith with all the turmoil satan brings upon the world? By TRUSTING God and by LIVING for the life of ETERNITY, NOT of the world. Psalm 1:1-6. Has been used throughout time to point the way to a blessed life and to warn of impending dangers of divine judgement to the wayward. BLESSED speakers of the blissful, happy, joyful life that is controlled not by circumstances but by inner strength from our Creator. This Psalm stands as a faithful doorkeeper confronting those who would be in " the congregation of the Righeous." V 5. Wisdom literature will unfold the seven characteristics of James 3:17 " But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy, and good fruits, without partiality and without hyprocrisy."
Jeremiah 17:5-8 God wants to bless His people and direct them into a life of faithfulness and fruitfulness. Then we can not only be recipients but channels of God's blessings. God blesses us in order to make us a blessing to others.
Psalm 1 reminds us that there is a narrow and a broad road. Take note; " walks" " stands" " sits"; " counsels", " path, " seat" and then " ungodly" sinners" " scornful". remember ther are no blow outs in the Christian life, only slow leaks. Taking heed of these truths will lead you into right principles, right practices, and right partnerships. Follow these truths and be blessed! This is what LIVING for Jesus means. Not in the understanding of the world, but by totally turning ALL we have to God so that we have inner peace. V2 Bit his delight IS the law of The Lord, and in His law he meditated day and night. V6 for The Lord know the way of the Righeous, but the way of the ungodly shall perish. For it is WITh God ALL things ARE possible.
