In Psalm 84:1-12; the psalmist gives us a snapshot of genuine worship. Genuine worship is SEEKING God with EVERYTHING we have; it is an addiction because it reveals and results in life change!
We worship because our heart is RIGHT. We realize that our strength for life is not our own and we must totally rely on God's strength. We ALL journey through the valleys, v6 the valley of weeping. We endure hardships, trials, and losses and temptations, yet God proves His faithfulness by giving us strength to endure. We worship because He allows us to serve Him. We proclaim that one day of fellowship is a thousand times better than anything else. Finally, we worship because of His provision and protection, " for The Lord God is a sun and shield v 11. God provides restoration and protection in the journey of life. Worship Him and receive the power to overcome things that are weighting you down. Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu Amen. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible. Have a VERY BLESSED SPIRIT FILLED Wednesday ALL! God LOVES you!! And so do I!!
