Impatience. How much longer? That is the question David asked four times in Psalm 13. Verss 1-2 , How long, O Lord? Will Yôu forget me forever? How long will Yôu hide Your face from me? How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? David was tired and exhausted. He felt forgotten and forsaken, as if he could not take it anymore. When we are feeling weak or impatient, be honest with God. God is not offended by your humble inquiry, especially whe He is what you are wanting.
When we express our concerns to God. David praised God despite the fact that his situation had not changed. David TRUSTED God's mercy and salvation, knowing that God had not changed. Hebrews 13:8 " Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and FOREVER!" REJOICE in Who God is and what ahe has done. Be FAITHFUL to do what God wants you to do, and wherever you are right this very moment, His mercy IS ENOUGH for you TODAY! Psalm 13:5. Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu AMEN. For it is WITH God ALL things are possible.
