 Hello - I was wondeorng if 281 between Stephenville and I 20 is still a construction mess?  I know it was a few months ago and wondering if they fiished?

It is still under construction but the flow of traffic is exactly the same. They have all lanes open all the way down 281 and they're working off the shoulder right now so traffic is normal. We traveled last weekend down 281 to get to Austin. Never had to slow, stop, or anything.
We only saw two pieces of equipment working down the whole stretch. The rest of the crew was absent. We came through around 3 on a Thursday and again on Sunday around noon. No one was working Sunday down the whole stretch.
We made good time.

Truest statement EVER!

We moved back to Wyoming from Stephenville almost a year ago.  My hubby had to drive to Fort Worth everyday and I feared everyday he wouldn't make it back.  It scares me for my inlaws that are down there.
