Well yesterday I lost my Game Patriot daughter to colic, and I blew out not one, not even two, but 3 pairs of pants.  Bunch of crappy luck.  Here is a picture of the baby I get to finish raising without the momma.  She's almost 3 months old now.

Thanks for the advise.  Yeah the filly will be fine, she's pretty independent anyway.  As far as the pants.  My wife was teasing me after the first set tore out at work.  I changed at lunch, get home afterwork and bend over to pick up the baby and complete blowout.  Third set, I'm climbing on my horse and hear the noise of denim seperating.  Really ticks me off!

The last time with the pants was in front of an arena full of people, so there might be a video on Youtube or something by now.

So sorry for the loss of your mare. As for the pants...I feel your pain and embarassment. I've had to give my two old faithful faves a decent burial recently. I have gained (a much needed) 15 pounds. Everyone says "where"...ummm I think we've found the answer!!

Condolences for the loss of your mare...

If you had only lost pants I'd question if you were actually my husband. I swear we have more denim blowouts in our house....though 3 in a day would be a personal best for him too.

Sorry for the loss of the mare. Always sad.

As far as pants/jeans...my dad has a practically brand new pair...I think last night was the 4th or 5th time they were worn. Well, the 1st time they were worn they broke a belt loop, the 2nd or 3rd time they were worn the pants tore around the back pocket. We keep patching them! So don't feel bad, $#!& happens.

I think yesterday was just one of those days for everyone. I host a barrel racing series...setting up the barrels I hit my leg on a barrel, got a good bruise, the water tank truck decided to die in the arena (we did get it started after a few minutes but were a little worried about it!), I went to get my own horse to run and where I board the truck was in the driveway and no one was home (luckily they came home shortly and I was able to run my horse), then she spooked at the 3rd barrel and went really wide.

So I think it must have just been yesterday...today will go better!
