| I'm looking for a nicer rope halter, but am having trouble deciding. I want a detachable or longer lead rope. Anybody have anything they absolutely love? |

| I love my Professional Choice halter... It has some stiffness but it is flexible and it kinda "formed" to my mare's head. The rope is tied to the halter, but I untied it and tied it to a snap. You don't have to worry about length as it is LONG. It can be draped over my mare's back and it will drag on the ground. |

Chris Cox's halters are amazing. Awesome feel, longer lead rope and superior quality. I'm rough on mine and it still looks brand new after 2 years. |

| I like the ones from Brute Ropes. They're stiffer and have a really nice feel and different rope lengths. The website is donttouchmyrope.com |

I don't mind me mule tape halters but all the ones I've felt/used/owned have no "feel" to them. Have you found some that do? |

That's how I felt too! I have had two and sold them because I couldn't stand them being so fluid moving with no "feeling"
i much rather have a stiffer rope and some life in it. |

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | I have two with piggin string noses on them. It gives them more bodyand keeps them from being like a pile of over cooked noodles!! Texas Lead Ropes makes mine. He will also put leather noses on them. |
