I have a gorgeous one. She's 4 and might be one of the prettiest mares around. Super smart, laid back and has been a lot of fun. She's only been under saddle about 5 months. I've been walking the pattern a lot. Decided to lope in between last week and she loped the entire pattern as nice as could be. She's awesome.

I had two off the track. Love them both. Sold one and have the other. Super laid back, easy going, willing to do whatever you ask and happy to do it. Very smart! Its a well rounded cross IMO.

I'm hoping the cross works very nicely!  LOL  I have a filly by a son of Bully Bullion out of a daughter of Corona Cartel.  So far, she's built like a little tank and sweet natured.

Bumping this back up for a question!
I have heard CC's are known to have bad feet. Is this true in your experience with them? I will soon be the proud new owner of a colt produced by a son of PYC Paint Your Wagon. Dam is Flashys Bac (Toll Tac x Bully Bullion)
Both sire and dam have nice feet - so I mainly just want to hear if you have heard this as well.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

None of ours have bad feet. As a matter of fact, they are all barefoot and have very nice feet.

Love my Pappasito! She has an excellent mind! But I've heard people say the Pappasito's are fractious. Mine sure isn't though. The Ivory James is a filly and she's really lazy. I've had more than one race trainer tell my the IJ fillies don't want to run. The colts are a different story. The PYC's we've had were good minded. I cutting trainer in OK has a full sister to the IJ I have. He loves her. Said she was super smart and athletic. He doesn't want her owner to send her to the track. He's afraid it will ruin her and he wants to keep her.

Havent heard anything about their feet... I've been around a few PYCs who were a little too hot for my liking. But in their defense they were pretty fresh off the track. I would take something a little hotter than lazy any day. And I wouldn't hesitate to try something corona cartel myself.

I have a son of Ivory James who has terrible feet.  He has thin souls and got abcesses all the time but we finally figured out the best way to trim/shoe him and *knock on wood* haven't had any issues since.  I was interested in purchasing a PYC son not too long ago and the owner told me he had bad feet also.  It wouldn't stop me from having another though

We have a weanling by Coronas Prospect out of a mare that was by our Bully Bullion/Shawne Bug stud. She was born the most correct of any baby we have had yet, her feet are really really good, and she is just amazing minded. Loves baths, picks up feet gladly, lets you put salve in her eyes for flys, absolutely nothing bothers her. She weaned in about 2 hours and never lost a pound. Frankly I am totally impressed with her.

i have a 2 year old and a 4 year old. sent the 4 year old off last year to a cutting horse trainer, she had never been off the farm took about 10 minutes to load her, tied her loose and closed the gate she was so quiet i stopped twice to make sure she was good. backed her off the trailer and walked to the barn like it was her farm. trainer said she was slow but i think she was so quiet he did not mess with her much. went to pick her up and thye rode her for me and she seemed to be real watchy and they told me she was nervous to get on and off. breought her home turned her out for a week the started with a stick and a plastic bag did the bag every and did about 10 minutes as soon as she wasnot scared of that bag all over her especially over top saddle area, then i work up to a shavings bag i could pop that bag all over her, i starting riding her. she probably had 45-50 days on her. i rode her about 45 days and then went for a private lesson with a reiner, everybody there was inpressed that she handled the lesson like a pro that was the third time she hauled, she rode and didnot look at nothing. he told me not to hurry her as i had a nice horse and she will throw her ass in the ground. i pull her out the stall and drop the rope saddle her up, she will stand there all day. she is not lazy but you know you have a lot of horse under you and i havent pushed her but will kinda spin pretty good. i hqvent put her on the pattern yet as i know 60 days she will be a barrel horse. want to get her really broke. she is eay on the eye as well. big dub with very long black mane blaze and black stocking. she is so kind and greatful for you to handle her in any way. not a stupid bone in her body the two year old same way. my brother and sister in law like to pet the in the pasture walk out there and mess with them the act like a thirty year old horses.

She looks nice! I like her pedigree. I really like Capo De Capi. The year I took my daughter and her mare to the BFA, we stayed at Belle Mere. They had just gotten Capo De Capi in there. I really liked him a lot when Dee showed him to me.
