I am patterning my 5 yo cutting horse (she is not a reject / she has no holes) and she is a smidge front endy to the left, particularly on the backside of a barrel. Can anyone with experience with this give advice on exercises or a helpful bit? She is obviously very light and broke. She lopes strait lines and circles/squares using her hind end. We just started patterning, its not like she is 30/60 days into this. Thank you

Do a lot of transitions. Walk to lope, poor to walk to trot to stop, to lope, etc. Grab these and keep your hands there to ensure you are asking with all legs and body. It's my #1 exercise right now because I have one of those as well. Roll backs on fence and lope off immediately from the exit.

Heather Smith has a book of drills that are very helpful. Martha Josey has a new book that has drills. If you are doing any of these and just ride the horse around the cones you are not going to accomplish much. You have to be in contact and in control of the horse.
