I just got an older shiloh jeri mann, wondering if anyone else still rides in them? what build / conformation types do they typically work well on. and what pads do you use or doesn't it matter - more of a personal preference?

I have one and LOVE it... i'd have a trailer full if I could find em. Has fit everything I put it on to this point. I have it on a taller race bred horse now. But its my go to saddle

My daughter has an older one. It rides very balanced, and the bar angle seems to work for a lot of horses. Fits her stout foundation bred mare decently with a saddleright pad. The newer tree has a wider standard gullet (6 3/4 instead of 6 1/2) and deeper seat. I have a newer one I adore so much I ordered another one with custom bars to better fit my super round horse.
