He was also on a dating show Sweet home alabama I believe?? and a small spin off from that but I dont remember the name.

| We watch it and enjoy it more than other reality TV, but at the end of the day it's still reality TV. Some stuff I think is legit - some stuff is done for TV drama.
I tried to get into Big Brother this season since Jason is a local, but i just can't handle the reality TV stupidity. I follow on Facebook. |

Location: on the fine line between insanity and geniusness | We watch it for entertainment purposes only. Living with someone that makes our living penning cows and coming from a family of full time Cowboys- it's just a little too cheesy for me! The high drama of going to catch the yearlings on the baseball field got me- they were closed up behind a fence- not such a big deal! I'd rather watch it than most crap on tv however! |

Remember the movie Comes a Horseman with Jane Fonda and James Caan. I guess for the sake of drama they roped hard-running big heavy Herefords and did the same thing. I liked the movie but hated these scenes. As I remember Sammy Thurman did the roping scenes for Ms. Fonda. I would have refused. |

They were both on it.
I grew up with Cody, and am friends with his wife Misty too. They are truly great people. Great horsemen. Misty has won a lot in PCA rodeos and super shows, she has put on some major barrel races through Platinum Productions. Some of the scenes are edited for TV purposes I guess, and they are certainly not actors/actresses. But they are the real deal as far as horse people go. Not some yahoos looking to get famous. |

Location: Arizona | Hmm, I don't remember Cody being on that show. I do remember Bubba being one of the few remaining contestants. That's great about Misty, she looks like she can ride. :) I'll keep watching, as it's better than some shows on TV. |

They both were on it. I don't personally know Cody but Bubba has been accused of animal cruelty. I don't know the whole story so I try not to judge but I did see pictures and it was a good friend of mines horse. I haven't watched because of that. My dad has been watching it and I caught some of it where they were trying to get the one guy a date and it seemed very fake to me.

I wondered how much he knew about a horse after watching this weeks episode. His horse was choking, like to the point you could hear him gasping for air and he has major snot coming out of his nose. He told the vet he must be colicing because he sounded like he was trying to cough and throw up at the same time. I've never known of a horse to throw up!! Then he tried to explain to the cameras what colic meant, and it was comical to say the least! My question is how do these people get these shows?? Like the Texas women- that wasn't quite and accurate depiction of the modern female making a living rodeoing?!? Much like these guys don't exactly paint the clearest picture of what those of us who actually make a living in the cattle industry do everyday. |

| I got caught up. I really like Cody and Misty and Booger seems pretty true to character. But there is something off about Bubba...he seems to have the least horse/cow sense...and that whole choke/colic deal was ridiculous to me. He didn't know the difference? And how he and his wife call each other "baby" all the time irritates me. Bleh. I am not sure I'll stick it out until the end. |

Location: Texas | You hit the nail on the head dashnlotti ,it is degrading to people that actually work cattle, and also to horse people, when people watch this show along with the others that have aired and that don't know anything about horses or true horse people they put them in the category that all horse people are idiots like the ones on the reality tv shows

Location: Downsouth | I thought they would be on nicer looking horses. Kind of the whole John Wayne deal. You never saw him on a short, out of shape, wormy looking horse. If Booger is really a trainer, put a handle on those horses so they don't have to snatch on them. I know these guys know what a good looking horse looks like. |
