I won't go into a lot detail but a local young woman went missing last weekend. She was 22 and 8 months pregnant.
They arrested a man and woman a few days after the young woman went missing on kidnapping charges, the man and woman were found with a newborn baby that was believed to be the missing womans child but the missing woman was still no where to be found.
The entire community has been still searching for the missing woman, hoping for the best that she might still be with us somewhere. Well she was just found tonight and is no longer with us. I have been sick to my stomach over this all week and was praying this wouldn't be the outcome.
Asking for prayers of peace for the family and newborn baby who will be growing up without her mom.

It is so sad, but I am glad they found her so the family can have some sort of closure. I can't imagine what the families are going through right now; my prayers go out to them.

That sounds horrific. Prayers to her family and friends and that poor baby. Just heartbreaking and sickening. I will never understand the evil that people possess.

It's something I'm having a hard time believing that it happened right here in my town. It's heartbreaking. She was young and just about to start the journey of being a mom. These people who are believed to have done it were her neighbors.. she went into their apartment to help them.. she trusted them. I think our community is still in shock.

This has definitely shaken ND. We do NOT see crime quite like this. Two seemingly normal people trick an 8 mo pregnant women to their neighboring apartment where she vanishes. Then they show up with a baby a couple days later set to apparently just raise it on their own having never been pregnant, I guess? Prayers to all of this beautiful girl's family. And prayers her daughter can grow up without the shadow of this tragedy over her head.

Good chance they were going to sell the baby. A form of human trafficking. Very easy to go into an area where folks are very trusting. Sounds like fiction. It is not. Makes me sick to my stomach but it is something that everyone needs to be aware of. Again prayers for everyone.

I think many thought human trafficking was he motive as well but this lady is just that messed up she thought she could take the baby and have it as her own. She wanted a family... even though she has 5 children with other men out there that she has never been a mother to.

This is all so tragic. I read that the lady apparently showed her how to go into labor early and then went up to the apartment after that... Heartbreaking either way.

That is the suspects story. She is just sticking to her story but the evidence doesn't support her story. It is truly heartbreaking like you said.

Didn't they say that the deceased lady's boyfriend has been found dead also? I'm not sure but thought they said that on the news. Prayers for Baby and for the family in their time of sorrow.

I haven't heard that. I believe he was in court yesterday when the suspects made their first appearance on the conspiracy to commit murder and conspiracy to commit kidnapping charges.
