Does anyone have a sample contract for riding and selling a horse? Horse is patterned but needs some work being patient and not pushing on the bit (off the track horse). Owner's goal is to send him out for slow work, exhibitions and enough runs to show him off & get him sold.

1DSoon - 2017-09-03 9:20 AM based just on that description alone this sounds like a recipe for disaster
All I'll say to that is some people shouldn't own & ride off the track horses and at least this person has realized it and decided to send the horse to someone with experience riding off the track horses.

Martha Josey just sent my trainer a horse to fix. She WAS a hot mess but my trainer took her off barrels completely and went back to basics. I think she needed to get some confidence in her rider. My trainer took her to Josey's and Martha could not believe the difference. We don't usually have contracts. My trainer sends me a bill and I pay her. Martha wants the horse sold and wants my trainer to make some runs on her. My trainer doesnt usually get anything off a sale but she doesn't really sell many horses.
