Location: Not Where I Want to Be | anyone down there or know someone down there that can story feed and hay?
I have a good friend that is the Volunteer coord. for livestock relief.
He has truckloads of feed and hay and can't find anyplace to store and distrubute.
Any names or numbers would help.

Location: relocated to Texas | Yes, I spoke with a girl at the First Baptist Church of Beaumont there. Her name is Yvette Michelle Griffith. They have set up a distribution area where local ranchers can come and get it to those in need. She said ranchers are in desperate need there. I will PM you her phone number.

| Our equine dentist is headed north from Silsbee Tuesday to take a load of whatever. Contact her on Facebook. Jennifer Melton Hairston. She probably will know where it can be stored. I may drive to Beaumont tomorrow with dog food. Not sure yet. |

Location: Southeast, Texas | We are desperate. All the local feed stores took on water. Aaron and I have spent two days helping the owner of our feed store clean out water logged bags of feed. So much has been lost. Ford Park here is a livestock staging area, but they aren't wanting to give horse feed and hay out to those of us who still have our livestock at home. The Douget family here has been taking in donations and storing it in their turf farm barn, they are allowing the locals to come get what they need. It's been a life saver. They are working purely off donations though. You can reach Mike Doguet at 409-790-0345. I'm sure he would be extremely grateful to have the donations to help us locals who are struggling to find feed and hay.
Thank you for your help!! We appreciate it more than we can ever explain! |
