Hey guys, I would appreciate some help on choosing a stallion for my mare. She is getting a little up in age so I really want to make a good decision for the 2018 breeding season and I can't seem to make my mind up.
She is a proven 1D producer and that foal was out of BHR Frenchies Socks. She has another foal by BHR that is 4 now and is looking really nice too. She has two other foals by Sun Frost Wonder that are also running barrels.
My limit on the fee would be between $2500 and $3000 and I am looking for a proven producer. So with that budget who would you choose?

I would breed to Slick By Design. He is a four time NFR qualifier. He has a LTE of $500,000. He has great conformation and throws colts with bone, smarts, and speed. There is also Feel The Sting, he is an upcoming stallion. He is by Dash Ta Fame, who needs no induction in the barrel world. His dam is MP Meter My Hay, which is Stingray. She is an amazing mare and barrel horse. There is another upcoming stallion I would breed to and that is Merry For Corona. He out of Corona Cartel, He has a progeny earning over 50 million. MFC is out of a Dash For Cash mare. MFC has earned 19K on the track and was AAA. I hope this helps. All of the stallions I mention are within your budget. SBD is $2750, FTS is $2,500, and MFC is $850. I bred my mare to Merry For Corona, he is a beautiful stallion. Very sweet and calm. His pictures due him NO justice. I am basis towards him, but any of these stallions are great. All of these studs are great conformation and SBD and MFC are passing it to their foals. Even though MFC's foals just hit the ground this year, they are beautiful and smart.

I am not against BHR again at all! Love him and all of his babies are doing very well. I was just wondering if I should try something different with her this year by choosing another proven stallion.
