| So I have to be gone Oct 23, possibly the 19th, through the 31st, and the horse in question has pssm and has to be in regular work. Normally I would just throw her outside and call it a vacation, except if she gets 3 days off in a row she comes up crippled, and I've got so much invested in her at this point, that the last thing I want is to worry about her while I'm gone.
Everybody else in the family is a novice rider at best, and she's pretty much a pro ride. She never does anything bad, but she's hot, sensitive, light off the leg, soft in the face, and rides off seat pressure, and I think she would fry pretty easy with any sort of man handling. She's a thinker, and has a very strong sense of self preservation. She's got to be able to trust her rider.
So what would you do with this horse? Craigslist sounds like an awful idea, and I don't really know anyone on the block. Will trainers take in a horse for a week? Wwyd? | |

| I'm in Oklahoma, the Okmulgee/Henryetta/Morris/Grayson area. I don't know about boarding barns. Seems like everybody out here has a bit of land. | |
