Location: Never in one place long | I'm planning a trip for our exchange student and my Dad and sister to go on in March... would like advice on what to do, I've been to Florida several times but just for Disney world or leaving for a cruise so would like to explore more. Any good restaurants? must do's? Which route would be best? don't know if we want to stick North bc of recent hurricanes or if it's been affected or not.
I am thinking either a North trip like St. Augustine, Disney World, Daytona beach?
or south trip- Florida Everglades, key west, Miami...

| Of course I'm a Disney girl! Last time I went to Disney (July) we took surf lessons at typhoon lagoon. Just happen to hear about it 6-8 months before & have been to WDW many times! They close down the park, it's only 3 surf coaches about 10-12, participants and a few life guards. They do it in the wave pool- outstanding experience! But what else would you expect tFrom Disney??? Also if you go they just opened the avatar rides at animal kingdom. Definitely fast pass the avatar flight of passage- great ride. Unless Navi river journey is 30 min or less don't waste your time. Pretty scenery but all it does is float through- no drops no surprises- nothing. Just thought I'd share.
You do have to book surfing ahead of time. Have fun - love Florida! |

| St Augustine is pretty cool, there's a bunch of old shops and places to eat. They also have Ripleys, train rides around the city, and carriage rides through the city. There is also the fort with tours. There is a Mexican restaurant across from the tractor supply, its called La Cocina and is delicious. There is also a place called Earl's with gigantic and wonderful cinnamon buns :) |

| Busch Gardens is our fave! We especially like to go when the Clydesdales have babies on the ground.
The free beer samples are awesome too. |
