Horse related or not, I am good with either!
5 year old sorrel mare named Peaches. She’s 15.2, size 80 blanket. She loves the colors burgundy, pink, purple, coral or turquoise.
Funky colored Polos, no turn bells in LARGE, horse treats, pre run pastes, flair strips, barrel reins, mule tape or regular rope halters and fly masks with ears are always great ideas
As for me I love peppermint, earl grey or orange pekoe teas, Starbucks Blond coffee, scented candles (vanilla or other "warm" scents), I also love Christmas ornaments!

-horse names that I get stuff for are Audie Murphy my show horse and Gunner (the yella fella in my picture). Audie is stuck with purple, he's manly enough to pull it off and all his things are very big. Gunner is royal blue or teal and he's normal sized lol.
-I have a black lab puppy named Ruger (KBP Don't Take Your Guns to Town) and a girthy little corgi named Spur. I love cats. Not crazy cat lady type of love, but very close as they all live outside.

I like classic designs. I am not into the fringe/tie-dye/beading thing.
Outside of horses, I run a lot. I have a love/hate relationship with exercise.
I also love all kinds of dessert... ^^^hence the exercise thing.
Ummm I also like handmade gifts. So if you are into that kind of thing, so am I.

- Would you prefer a gift that was horse-related or not? Or a mix? A mix is nice, but I love horse stuff.
- 3 specific items that you would love to recieve I would like to get the book Mind Gym by Gary Mack. I also would like, kind of need 2 hay bags that can hold at least 3 flakes of hay each. I like the CE ones, but don't need anything that fancy.
- Favorite color Orange and/orTurquoise. I really like lots of color! I'm not into "bling" per se, but I like all colors, and rainbow, and tie dye. As long as it has color, I'm happy.
- Horse names, colors, sizes, etc. Pebbles, chestnut mare, age 16, 14.2H, pretty much a medium, looks good in almost any color but brown or red. Jett, grey gelding, age 7, 15.1-15.2H, looks awesome in any color, but really good in turquoise and/or orange. He's also pretty much a medium.
- Information regarding your other pets I have a blue merle mini Aussie named Quigley and he is less than a year old. He is between 13 and 14 lbs. currently and loves to play with any and everything (especially squeaky toys, and he loves fetch!). I also have a 10 year old Boston Terrier named Junior, and he is large (38 lbs). He likes tennis balls and tug o war.
- Other I love chocolate, I love coffee, and I swear I live on the coldest place on earth in the winter! LOL. I'm really not picky though...love the Secret Santa exchange!

I think A mix of gifts would be lovely.
I can't think of anything specific I'd like to receive. I like anything really.
Favorite Color is Purple but our barn colors are red and black.
Lee, Sorrel 2005 Model Gelding. He's a normal horse size in halters. Medium size boots. Annie is a liver chestnut mare. Normal horse size in halters and small in boots.
Sadie Lou is a Senior Yellow Lab/Chow mix about 60lbs
Gracie Rae is a Black Aussie/Pit Mix -About 50lbs.
Mopar is a Grey, Brown and Black Schnouzer/Basset Mix -About 20lbs
Julie is a Solid Black Cat who lives with my mom, but she would enjoy treats as well.
My home is decorated in a modern Morrocan, gypsy, boho type theme. Grey walls, pops of color on the furniture, paintings, and linens.
I enjoy Yoga after everyone is in bed and walks and talks with my two year old little girl when I am not at work. My little one has Scleroderma with CREST syndrome so she has a lot of unseen disabilities and pain. She is my pride and joy. She keeps me going when things get rough. She enjoys dinosaurs, insects, hound dogs, horses, and cats. She likes getting mail. Sometimes I mail her things just so we can walk to the mailbox together to get her packages.

- I really only buy things for my barrel horse, "Belbel." Bay with a big blaze, left front sock (avatar). Green is the main color for her, I use a lot of green and blue mix though. Average horse halter, 72" blanket, not even 14.2 hands, medium boots
- have a black and white Border Collie/Aussie mix named Tootsie. 35lbs (wet), medium collar

My gift does not have to be horse related....but I do like westerny things.
My Fav colors are purple, teal and turquoise or almost any combination there of.
I have a 25 yr old retired gelding, Hoppy. He is 15h and sorrel. Just got Molly about 2 weeks ago. She is a 15h black and white paint mare. I do not need halters for either. I have 256455 of those! Hahaha!
I would like to have pair of CE bell boots. Size M. "Pink Sweep" pattern.
I personally like Yankee Candles....my favorite scent is Cranberry Chutney.
I also have 2 cats, Shadow (14 yr old black male) and Nugs (12 yr old calico female). Nugs is my special girl.
Other info- I am in the process of redoing my kitchen so its more of a southwestern theme. I have chosen taupe and blues so far and have curtians picked out. Thats about all...... LOL

Horse 3-Pearl, 3 mo old chesnut type filly to above horse Jesse.
Horse 4- Tino, black andalusian stallion 5 yrs old, size small legs. Just started breaking him in.
- Information regarding your other pets I have an almost 10 mo old toy/mini Aussie Blue Merle Female named Sage. Her registered name is Crazy Sage-because well she's psycho lol. She LOVES squeaky toys and plush toys-surpisingly doesn't ruin them. Also needs to have something to chew on 24/7
- Other I love dark roast coffee, anything handmade/homemade, beaded/buckstick type look. Not huge on rhinestone type bling. I love vintage, southwestern/native type of anything! Also love fall winter candles. I'm also a big believer in essential oils :) Size for myself is Medium

I have two mares. A small but gritty, 14'2 chestnut mare with tons of chrome. A large and in charge 15'2 palomino mare. They are both divas!
I have a 60# Aussie named Annie that travels with me. I also have a 20# Westie named Stella, who is a little fire ball! (She recently got a Pacemaker put in so she thinks she's invincible!)
Other? I enjoy reading; westerns, crime, mystery. I love old movies; Gene Kelly, Lauren Bacall, John Wayne, etc...I love turquoise, coral, mother of pearl, etc...new or old pawn jewelry. Homemade goodies; jams, jelly, relish, salsa, pies, etc...Not a fan of bling...like classic tooled quality leather. Headstalls, reins, etc...

Yeti Cup (or off brand), Fancy dog collar size medium, I would love a new pair of spur straps (Classy, yet cute) A few more hints or ideas, I am a fashionista and love all clothes and jewlery. (I wear size small shirts! I love bath bombs and girly stuff. I really like wild rags, since our winters in Iowa are very cold!

Little about me.
Just moved to Terrell TX from sw Louisiana. My husband and I have 4 horses (all mares!) and 3 dogs.
I'm not sure what I want that I won't buy for myself. Lol
A mix of both would be great. Every year I am tickled? when I open my box.
3 things I'd like to receive?
Hmmmm bell boots (size medium), maybe a headstall? And ????
I like any color. Except maybe yellow. Just not a big fan.
Like I mentioned above I have 4 mares.
Jazz - my retired girl I've owned 15 years.
Chick- my little red headed crazy train. I adore this mare. Even on her bad days. And she's had some bad ones!
Cajun - my newest one. This big quirky mare has quickly worked her way into my heart. We've had our struggles but we're getting there.
Sunny- bought her for my husband but he wasn't riding her so.... I took her and put her on the pattern. She has shocked me. Just a good natured fun mare.
My dogs...
Spur-my blue eye blue merle Texas heeler. This guy is my buddy. He goes everywhere that he can with me. When my anxiety kicks in and I start getting anxious, or have a panic attack, he sits on my feet until I calm down. Just an amazing boy. He loves squeaky balls and the nerfdog frisbees that Walmart carries. It's the only frisbee he'll play with. Go figure!
We also have 2 other heelers. Both are my husbands dogs. Lizzy and Aggie. Their amazing dogs. Just not like spur in my eyes. Lol

Hmmm.. I usually find a way to buy everything I need, but I can always use Medium boots, pre race pastes (calming or lung support), Vetline electryolyte pastes, treats, use your imagination. I'm easy to please.

Like I said I'm easy to please. I would like whatever speaks to you :D. Getting a surprise box is always fun!!

I'm not really sure. I love the new blue scroll and grey damask from CE so would be cool to have something in that pattern. I have mesh hay net I use as a fan bag, I would love a fan bag so I can look sophisticated lol.

Pink, purple, turquoise are my favorites. On my horses neutral colors are good too like white, black, brown. No red or yellow.

9 y/o sorrel QH mare Miss Cee Hickory "Miss Cee" she is about 14.3/15HH.. haven't taped her in a long time so don't remember.
Will be bringing home a weanling next fall so if you know of something that a new weanling could use I would love it!

My dog is 13 and her name is Kira, she is a GSD mix and about 55lbs, I also have a tuxedo cat Jaques (like Jaques Clouseau in Pink Panther, they both have little mustaches)

I love surprises, I also love scented candles and Bath and Body Works especially their scented plug in refill things! I also love to drink mint tea or honey vanilla chamomile tea in the winter before bed. Gift cards are fun and easy for the busy purchaser.
Not a big coffee person, not a big Aztec or arrow fan. I'm allergic to chocolate and red food dye so please only white chocolate if you plan to send some with it. | |

I'm not a picky person to shop for. I'm not into bling or fringe. I will be hopefully showing Ranch Riding next year and they're more on the conservative side of things. The biggest gift I'm getting is Duncan. Many know his back story and I'm still in awe he's most likely coming home. We are still ironing out the details. There are many pictures on facebook under Kelchlin Quarter Horses of what the 4 legged children look like. If anything, cards and a gift to a needy family would make me happier than anything.

I have been wanting to buy or at least read "Gold Buckes Dont Lie" by Fred Whitfield. I've heard it is an extraordinary book to read. This may seem funny, but the lampshade on my lamp in the living room has been busted up by my daughter (21 months old). I would really like something western to replace it with. Decor colors are mostly fall, burgundy and green and golds. Its just a typical size lamp, not really big or small, but it needs a shade that screws in at the top, not one that just fits over the light bulb.
My daughter turns two in January and I really love outfits or toys for her. She ADORES books, especially the ones with thicker pages and great pictures she can easily turn. She had us read her the same book multiple times a day and right before bed.
We just moved too, so I am looking for some cool western art to hang on my walls. None of the stuff from our previous house seems to fit this one well.

Zephyr, black mare, about a 70" for most stuff or cob sized (she is only 14.3); Breezy, sorrel gelding, about 75" for most stuff, typical horse sized (15.3); Rodman, black stud, a yearling now so will be growing bigger. Should be the same size as Zephyr. We have a lot of broodmares and weanlings coming every year. We love having extra foal and colt sized halters on hand for them (three coming in the spring).

Dog, Rio, blue lacy. Average size dog, weighs about 60 lbs. Destructor, cat, male yellow tabby (doesn't really need anything).

I am allergic to chocolate, so if you were thinking of sending something to eat please avoid this. I am also allergic to metals that are not 18k gold or platinum and since both of those are well out of the "about $50" limit I don't worry much about it but jewelry or anything worn with metal is a no go for me.

- I have 5 horses currently: Pete, my semi-retired barrel horse (he had an acute case of EPM earlier this year and isn't 100% yet); Savvy, my 4 year old Chasing Firewater mare who will soon have to fill Pete's very large shoes. She's a gritty girl and doesn't know she's only 14.2h; Ace, my husband's horse we rescued out of a kill pen, the sweetest horse on our place; Stella, my Goldseeker Bars broodmare; Ruby, 7 mo. old filly. All horses are average size, aside from Ruby of course :)
- We have 2 dogs, a 1 year old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois named Apollo, who is 68lbs and easily the smartest dog I've ever owned, and a 9 year old Aussie mutt named Lizzy, who is 15lbs of attitude :)

Lee, Sorrel 2005 Model Gelding. He's a normal horse size in halters. Medium size boots. Annie is a liver chestnut mare. Normal horse size in halters and small in boots.
Sadie Lou is a Senior Yellow Lab/Chow mix about 60lbs
Gracie Rae is a Black Aussie/Pit Mix -About 50lbs.
Mopar is a Grey, Brown and Black Schnouzer/Basset Mix -About 20lbs
Julie is a Solid Black Cat who lives with my mom, but she would enjoy treats as well.
My home is decorated in a modern Morrocan, gypsy, boho type theme. Grey walls, pops of color on the furniture, paintings, and linens.
I enjoy Yoga after everyone is in bed and walks and talks with my two year old little girl when I am not at work. My little one has Scleroderma with CREST syndrome so she has a lot of unseen disabilities and pain. She is my pride and joy. She keeps me going when things get rough. She enjoys dinosaurs, insects, hound dogs, horses, and cats. She likes getting mail. Sometimes I mail her things just so we can walk to the mailbox together to get her packages.

I'm 48, single mom, one kid gone in college, other a senior in high school. 3rd child is my Catahoula. Just started taking control of my life and doing things for myself now that the kids are grown (mostly!). I am office manager at our local sale barn (5th largest in our state), so I get to wear jeans and boots with nice tops every day, but it is COLD at times! Sweaters, vests, hoodies, big scarves..I love pretty warm clothes!

This is always the hardest. I would love a pair of leather earrings. I've seen dangly tooled ones shaped really neat and even cowhide ones! So far I have resisted temptation. I would also love a brown toned western belt. I have lots of hip belts and a couple super blingy ones, but would like one to WEAR! Wildrags..wildrags..WILDRAGS. I wear these a lot and working at the barn I will be wearing them daily soon.

I'm all over the place with color. Royal blue, emerald green, copper, turquoise, black, hot pink, leopard print. I guess it would be safe to say I'm not a fan of yellow or orange (unless it's a burnt orange, then I love it)
- Horse names, colors, sizes, etc.
Zee (technically my daughter's young horse but she turned her over to me, and I love her to pieces..except learning to deal with a MARE) is a gorgeous dark buckskin - many call her grulla but I'm not certain that's technically correct). She is average size about 15h, with the exception of being way too easy a keeper and rather ummm...fluffy. I would love to have a white or black muletape halter for her, but those are out of the budget (unless my SS happens to make them!). We don't do blingy tack, with the exception of I had to buy the Fatgirl a new saddle and bought a ridiculously gorgeous tooled one in two tone medium/choc leather with copper spots and conchos. I went for a plain ranch saddle, then saw this one surrounded by a glow of light and heard angels singing. Sigh...it did fit her better and I got a heck of a deal. We don't barrel race..more everyday ranch riding,checking pastures, cattle, working up to light roping with her. My #1 desire in life for her is my very own tripping collar so I can quit using my daughter's - which has her name and queen titles stamped on them. Again.. way out of our budget!
- Information regarding your other pets
Ruger, the 3rd and favorite child according to the two leggeds, is my 100+ pound Catahoula, goes everywhere with me, and considers it his mission in life to protect me from anything or anyone he deems shady. He's in my avatar. Cannot express how much this dog means to me. He is my guard dog, lap dog, snuggle buddy, and one wicked SOB on cattle. A cool collar for him would be awesome. Several years ago my SS had one made for him - such a neat gift! His neck is 19-20"

As I said I will love anything my SS chooses! I wear a size small top and my jeans are 24x33 in the Rock 47 and 25L in the Ariat REAL jeans. Stalk me on FB (that's what I do with mine!) - Diane Albrecht. Most everything is public, but even if you aren't my SS shoot me a friend request - love keeping up with my BHW friends on there! | |

I like Horse related items or a mix. I am pretty easy. I love almost anything, last year I got the coolest hoody with my horses name on it. I love anything unique

My main horse/only one with a job: Skippin N Win N "Blitz" 8 year old liver chestnut QH mare. Size 78 blanket, size medium in sports medicine boots, size medium or large bell boots. I primarily use lime green on her. She loves treats, however she is allergic to corn, so any treats cannot have any corn in them.
My two free loaders (one is retired, one is constantly injured/abscessing):
Tucker - 18 year old palomino QH. He is retired and currently enjoying life where the most stressful part of his day is when breakfast is late. His main color was orange when we were racing.
Rocky - 13 year old cremello QH. He is 13 going on about 3 training/mentally wise and is usually either injured or has an abscess in one of his feet. He is Blitz's half brother (same dam) His primary color is turquoise and/or orange. I was sincerely hoping to make him Blitz's backup, but only being able to ride about 4-6 months out of the year with him due to abscesses, we're not making the progress I had hoped for, so he's one of the freeloaders who just hangs out... :)
- Information regarding your other pets I have 3 dogs (all are about 40-45 lbs). A 12 year old blue heeler named Jordan - hes my main hauling buddy, if the truck and trailer go somewhere, 99% of the time he's in it with me! A 6 year old yellow lab named Tiffany - she's the little princess of the house. Last but not least is our adoptee from Cabo San Lucas, a 3 year old kelpie named Perla. She is quite the character who we fell in love with while on vacation a few years back, so we decided to adopt her and bring her to America.

I don't have any two legged children - just my large and small 4 leggeds, but I do have a 10 month old niece who I just love to pieces! I'm not a fan of animal prints or much pink. I love Aztec and paisley designs. I'm a size medium/large in shirts (depending on how they fit) and a size 27 waist, long length jeans. I've recently fallen in love with twisted x moccasins (size 7). I love wild rags for winter time races, and pretty much live in hoodies, and as weird as it sounds, I absolutely hate wearing gloves. The only times I wear them are when I'm moving hay, and even then, I'm not comfortable with them. I love "fall" type scents - apple, pumpkin, etc. I love starbucks, but I don't drink coffee...

It' not a big deal. I just had no control over when I received his address. I certainly can' expect strangers to just trust me when I say I will provide it as soon as I get it.
you have to keep in mind that unless you have dealt with it on a personal level, it's not always easy to understand the process. From the day most soldiers arrive overseas they spend 1 to 3 weeks at "in processing" prior to getting to their unit. And typically they don't have their APO address until they arrive at their unit | |
