What is your favorite low-profile saddle pad? (1/4" - 1/2" range

I'm not comfortable using anything less than a 1/2" pad, especially for barrel racing. With that being said, I do have a 1/2" 5 Star pad that I like.  With such a thin pad though, saddle fit is paramount.

I use a 1/2” 5 star when I have a perfect fit saddle.

I think saddlerights are about as thin as you can get

I like that the Saddlerights really have a lot of "substance" to them. I had purchased a thin Impact Gel first and there's no comparison at all.

I have a 3/4" 5 Star but it just makes the saddle sit strangely on my little mare. (When I use my 1/2" 5 Star the saddle sits correctly but the one I have is too long for her back so I need to get her one that is shorter through the spine). I'm trying to figure out if I should go with a different brand.

Tod Slone pads are great!!  They seem to make our saddles really fit and the quality is great!

another vote for 5 Star. Their 1/2" has a lot of substance but still conforms to our horses really well.

Saddleright is the only thin designed pad that offers maximum protection and orthopedic value. There is not a pad on the market that can compare to them.
