There was a huge thread on here about it. Search " Osphos Barrel horse world" on google and it should pop up. Having said that, I have used it with lots of success.
I've used it. My mare had slight navicular, with proper shoeing we were able to keep her somewhat sound. I heard great things about Osphos so I thought I would give it a try. It's relatively inexpensive. I gave it to her in the beginning of November, I didn't see any significant changes until later in December, there was a slight improvement. I never could make her sound enough to compete. I ended up selling her as just a trail horse..
I just gave some to my horse last week. My vet told me OsPHOS also helps the joints.... and it is suppose to start working in about a week. But, I also read somewhere that it takes about a month to see some improvement.
Does anyone do xrays
to see if the bone has actually remodeled?
My horse has a bone cyst in the bottom of tibia and we are doing a series of osphos and I work for my vet parttime and we will be doing xrays as we go along. We are doing every 6 weeks 3x. I am bout 2 weeks in on my first one so four more weeks for the first xrays.
