I put up an ad for my coats saddle here a few days ago and I have yet to get a legitimate inquiry, but I have gotten plenty of scam e-mails, and now I am even getting texts. I got this one yesterday:
I have gone through the content of this advert you post for sale(Coats with Original tree)i am very satisfy, what is the final price ? Payment will be made out via PayPal,kindly get back to me ************@yahoo.com with your PayPal email or invoice for the payment.
Completely sounds like a scam to me? But how are people now scamming using paypal?? The paypal e-mail did match up with the name that was on the email.

I just got finished selling a saddle. I got so many scam emails and texts from equinenow and horseclicks it wasn't even funny. Some of them were even well written enough that I thought it was someone legitimate until the shipping came up. All of them said paypal was fine.
All of my legitimate interest came from Facebook. I ended up taking my nonFacebook ads down as it just wasn't worth it and I didn't want my phone number in scammers hands forever.

Dreamhorse.com and tacktrader.com are also ridiculous with scammers. I even got some on horses I had for sale. Unreal.
