I finally saved enough to order Adequan so when it gets here I will get started. Do horses typically get sore at the injection site? I was already planning switching sides but will it be fine just going back and forth on her neck or do I need to do other places too?

I know all horses react different but just curious. She's typically fine when she gets her vaccinations and blood drawn. I know it's not thick like penicillin but just thought I would ask!

I was worried about this also, because mine does have a reaction to vaccinations sometimes.  I did her loading does in the butt so if she did her neck wouldn't be sore.  I switched sides and never had a problem.  Gave one in her neck and didn't have any reaction or anything either.

I give Pentosan, so a little different, but I have no soreness. I alternate sides of neck.
