I have a 2006 Marlene Special EFFX by Circle Y. I dont think the flex trees really flex much at all, to be honest. And if they do, I doubt it's anything substantial. Mine has fit everything from a round barrel type of horse with no withers to a TB type. I use different thicknesses of pads to account for different builds. I like mine....until I save enough to buy a used Caldwell (if I ever find a 15.5 or 16 that is affordable).

I've had two Marlene Special Effx by circle Y.

While I loved riding in them, the quality wasn't great and they didn't last long. Nails kept popping out and wouldn't stay in. I called Caldwell for repair and they said they won't touch them. They said the rubber makes it impossible for the saddles to stay together.

I have a KK Flex tree and love it. I’ve had it for a year and a half or so now. Mine has the memory foam seat and impact gel underneath. I think it’s great quality and love how I can pull the stirrups forward to help me sit back in my seat.

I got my first flex tree this year, a Reinsman Marlene McRae. I love it! It fits me good, fits my mare good, and I feel really confident riding in it.

I have a Circle Y Lisa Lockhart Flex2 for one of my horses. I absolutely love it! Comfortable for me, and fits him perfectly.
