Many of you who have attended a clinic or have competed in E TX know Paula Muirhead. Paula did the serpentine thing in the back at Josey's. Paula is very ill and hospice has been called in. I cannot give a lot of detail but things do not look good. Most of what I know about horsemanship I learned from Paula. I guess she was the first person that I knew who understood that barrel horses needed to be broke and hers were. She has had some good ones over the years. She really needs prayers. I did not find out how sick she was until today.

Oh my. I loved working with and talking to Paula when we went to Josey's. She is so full of information. She has forgotten more that I will ever know in my lifetime, and yet she shares her knowledge freely with anyone that really wants to learn. The young kids at the last clinic that I went to had no idea what they were missing out on as they talked amongst themselves and chose not to listen to her lessons. I am sorry to hear about her poor health.

was she the older lady that drove the dodge with the Capri?
If so she was cool.
I think you may be thinking of Sandra Jagot. Sandra was always up in the covered arena around the little office there. Paula was always out in the serpentine thing out in the back with Dr Adams. She is a phenomenal horseman. Yes she is an older lady.
