Our associations around here all buy Corriente (due to the price). Personally, I wouldn't use it so it would just sit in my house (like the trophy saddle I have now) or I would sell it. I have seen other associations south of us give Shiloh saddles or Todd Sloan.

Everyone has their own opinion about trophy saddles....when I was an NBHA district director, we used Corriente saddles. I have won several of these and I personally love them. They have fit every horse I have put them on. But I am not someone that has to have an expensive name brand saddle either.....not a thing wrong with it, but my money can go into other things. They were always good to work with, and with a limited amount of money that I had to spend, they were always our best choice. I looked at their website recently, and they have many new saddle designs to pick from..... I am going to order a new saddle after the holidays!!
