Talk to me about Charmayne's bit line! I currently only own one of her bits but I'd love to hear from you about them and your past experiences! Love them, hate them?

They don't suit every riding style. If you don't ride with a lot of outside rein and you work your horse with a lot of bend, I think you'll need a different bit.

Personally, I am not a fan. They've never fit any horse that I've had (so maybe it doesn't work with my riding style?) But I'm always open to try things if they work! I'm not saying I would never use one, I just haven't had luck with any =]

I think people buy them thinking that there will be a ton of rate and leverage in them, and I don't feel like there is. They're designed with an equal ratio so not tons of whoah as compared to a Pozzi or a Goosetree lifter.
They're really useful for me on a super broke horse to stay straight into the turn and really engage the hind quarters while staying snappy in the front end.
I like the chain and Waterford mouthpieces the best.
