Location: Alaska | I am scared to say it out loud but, I am thinking I am going to go for it and check something off my bucket list (if it is even possible). I am flirting with the idea of entering the Pendleton Round Up next year. One of the many factors in this is, I live in Alaska, so this will take a crazy amount of planning, time, and money.
I am hoping someone here can help me find information on entering. I can not find anything on the internet. Where do I go to enter the rodeo and ask all my questions? Also - you do not have to be card holder or anything in order to enter, correct? Does anyone know what the entry fee's for barrels are? Also, is there anyone who knows what the pattern measurements are?
If anyone could send me in the right direction I would be so grateful. This might turn out to be something that I will not be able to make happen, but now is the time for me to at least try.
Last, but not least - if any of you have entered this rodeo, I sure would love to talk to you. Being form Alaska, this would be my first rodeo in the states, and I know this rodeo is like no other!!!
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide me!!! | |

You have to be a WPRA member to enter the Pendleton Round Up PRCA rodeo. Entries in 2017 were $266

You'll have to check out the WPRA schedule for entering information. It is not on the schedule yet. But when it is, the website will have entry openings and closings. You enter through calling PROCOM. You'll have to have your card/permit bought by a certain date also. Keep an eye on the schedule. You can look at the schedule from the 2017 season to give you an idea.
