| November 5,2017 a day that won't be forgotten... Pure evil, walked into a First Baptist Church, at Sutherland Springs , Texas and opened fired...killing and wounding innocent people worshiping God.
I am heart broken for these people..I THANK GOD! My sister Kay Blandford, decided to stay home this is her church family, she has several colts , was going to take a group to Gonzales. And then she is going take a group next Wedensday to Waco. I told her that her guardian angel was watching over her once again. As most of you know I believe 15 years ago now, she was at Fort Smith, Ark. At Futurity, and had entered the rodeo which was on Monday night, our dear sweet friends Maggie Green and Gail Shanahan took Kay's Futurity horses on Sunday to go home. Well a barge hit the webber falls bridge and it collapsed. Maggie and Gail and all the horses went over into the water. With 11 other people died that day.
It's heart breaking to this day, when we drive over that bridge....
Kay was and is devastated.. I call it survivors guilt. We cannot answer why, how come..only TRUST in God's timing. It's not her time.
John 8:12 Jesus said, " I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.
John 8:32 then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.
Psalm 25:5 Lead me in your truth and teach me, for You are the God of my salvation.
Whenever you feel your freedom threatened, remind the enemy of this verse. HOLD FAST to the truth because therein lies your freedom.
Today, THANK Jesus that even when we are distracted and forget, He NEVERS LOSES sight of us. We can be redeemed.
For it is with God All things ARE possible.
Father God, it's beyond our understanding when someone of evil comes to our door. HELP us, to not lose sight of Yôu, during the storm. Guide us to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu Amen
Prayers for ALL who is effected , today the First Baptist church family needs our prayers. Those lost loved ones and those trying to survive. David Colbath, is one trying to survive, he is a personal friend.
He is in critical condition, shatter elbow, went into his side, the loss of blood, too much to allow surgery to remove the bullet fragments from his arm, side and legs. My understanding he has two broken ankles, knee, etc. he is stabilize until tomorrow...heavily Sedated. May God give him strength, calm his body, guide doctors. Heal to complete recovery. David has a young daughter to raise.. Lord, PLEASE allow this test to be his testimony for you Amen
Sad , sad, hard day. GOD BLESS ALWAYS and FOREVER ALL!

Location: Oklahoma | I was shocked when I went to a local church a couple years ago and seen an arm gentlemen at the door of the church and stood guard during church and still does today. and this is a very small community! and I cannot even imagine that our world has come to this! it is so sad and tragic that we are not safe in God's houses! But the devil will not win no matter what! thank God that he is soooo mighty and the devil will get his day! Prayers for Texas! and all over!

Location: Arkansas | I send prayers for Kay, the church, the families, and the victims. We as a country need God more than ever, yet sometimes it seems we move further and further away daily. . . I cannot wrap my mind around what leads someone to do something like this. May He continue to keep His loving hands of mercy on us.

Location: East Texas | Many prayers for those who were injured and are suffering. Praying for healing, both physically and emotionally. It is so sad that the place that we should feel the safest, has become a physical battleground for satan. Our church, including my husband who is the Pastor, and also a law enforcement officer, is armed at all times, as well as several others in our church. God have mercy on our land!
