So my saddle used to fit, and now it pinches her shoulders, and seems to be too big under the seat. To make matters worse, the Billy Cook was the only saddle that didn't stab me on the inside of my pelvis, although I could use a little narrower twist (if they make such a thing). Anybody got any brand recommendations/things I need to know? I'd like to stay ~$1000 if I can help it, and I'll need to get this one sold before I buy another, which is its own set of headaches.

I am NO saddle fit expert, and it's hard to tell from the pics.
But my suggestion for a temporary fix, or at least worth a shot and a cheaper alternative to a new saddle...
Slide your saddle back a few inches, off her shoulders. Then maybe try a shim to pick the front end up a bit?? Of course, it could make it tighter in the front, or it could work, again-no expert.
If she's young and growing maybe you can at least get by for a while.

It doesn't look to be a terrible fit by any means. What do the sweat patterns look like? Are you feeling a spot that is tighter than the rest when you run your hand along the tree? What kind of pad are you using, and what thickness?

I do think you have the saddle slightly too far forward on her.

I would absolutely not use a shim with that saddle.

I've got a ~1 inch oxbow pad, a diamond wool a little bit skinnier (3/4 or 7/8), and one of the Navajo rug things with impact foam in the middle and fleece on the bottom. the fleece one seems to work the best. She gets back sore with the other two, and I'm careful to not be pounding on her.
I'll move the saddle back some and get new pictures and report back on how the underside feels this afternoon.

So here's a little farther back. It seems to fall into the shoulder pocket, but that could be because there's no pad. As far as the tree goes, it seems to have the same level of pressure all the way along, and it doesn't bridge.

As far as sweat patterns, there aren't any dry spots when I pull it off, but there is some ruffling.

Would a thinner pad work?
