Location: Ohio girl moved to PA | This year i'm a youth director for the association i run in and funds are pretty limited this year so im looking for ideas on what to get the youth. I want it to be something useful, no one wants to get something thats just gonna sit or get tossed to the side (halter, bucket). Were stumped. HELP lol |

| Why don't you do a bucket full of goodies? Hoof picks, brushes, shampoo/conditioner, bell boots, fly spray, horse treats, etc...
Stateline Tack has really good prices on stuff like that. Then, maybe you could get stickers or vinyl made for the buckets w/ their names or what they won? |

| What about embroidered or screen printed hats (baseball or military style)? They're usually a one size fits most, and you can have them made as fancy or plain as you prefer.
If there's someone local to you that does embroidery or screen printing, the opportunities are pretty endless- duffel bags, folding camp chairs, etc. can be customized pretty easily and not get too expensive.
Also, small bags of treats or feed are always a good idea. If you have a local feed store, I would see if they're willing to donate items or even a gift certificate or two. |

all of our divison champions and reserve champions will get a saddle and buckle so were looking for other things. Were trying to stay away from grooming buckets/totes since that was done last year. the kids dont want halter/saddle pads. I think were gonna go with softshell jackets and hay bags. i know were not going to please everyone but were trying! |

Location: Monticello, AR | I gave stirrups one year for the youth....Don Orrell makes beautiful wooden stirrups. And is making slanted ones as well. Also gave boot jacks.... A little different and didn't break the bank. Maybe a gift certificate and They could buy what they actually need? I agree that u can get overrun with buckets and brushes etc. |
