There are two centers within equal distance from me that offer conditioning packages. One does swimming and has an eurociser and the other has a water treadmill and other therapies like an Equivibe and Theraplate. The only real difference is that the horse would get 3 swims a week and at the other place, they would get 5 sessions on the water treadmill a week.
Both are similarly priced. Which one would you lean towards? I am having a hard time picking between the two!!! (This is for the spring but I want to make my reservation soon before they book up.)

One is low impact, the other is no impact. A filly I had was swam quite a bit and when they put her back on the track her joints swelled because the impact was too much for her. But her endurance was outstanding. Just depends on the rehab place and what all they offer. Swimming IMO should be a part of rehab therapies and not the only thing they do
