Location: In the Hills of Texas | CBS pulled the channel when Dish and CBS couldn't come to an agreement before their contract expired.
Call Dish to complain and CBS. The number for CBS is 212-975-4321. Dish is opened today but CBS isn't. |

| Well, we dropped Direct TV last month and now are totally internet tv. We have PlayStation View and do have CBS Sports. I sure hope we don't have any Rise Broadband issues during the NFR! |

Called Dish yesterday to express my dissatisfaction. Person I talked to was pretty much stupid and uninformed. She wanted to give me the CBS number. I explained that Dish is the party I am paying for a package that is supposed to inclued CBS Sports Network and therefore my immediate problem is with Dish. Meanwhile my husband is probably getting ready to have a meltdown if issue is not resolved before NFR starts. |

As it was CBS that pulled the channel, I can see Dish's position. If they caved to the demands of paying higher fees to CBS and Dish upped the cost of having DISH, we would now being complaining about the higher cost. This happens with both Direct and Dish when contracts are renewing. The girl I spoke with said that if I called CBS that they might work out something in order for us to recieve that channel. If both get enough complaints...maybe they will get off their butts and try to resolve the problem. This is not the first time this has happened right before the NFR airing. |

Maybe all the folks that contacted them and told them the NFR is a must see in their households, or other means of watching would be found, hurried negotiations along. |

221 on DirectTV so check now if you have that channel and if you don't. Add it and then after the NFR cancel it. That is what we use to do every year. |
