Anyone fed animal element to a yearling? I have a filly no issues yet. But if it does some good then I don’t mind feeding something. I’m not going to supplement unless I need to. She gets grass hay and alfalfa and renew gold.

Most of the issues horses have now days are man-made. We are literally loving them to death. We over feed, over supplement, over pamper...the vets are well paid though, so thats a plus.

I think green grass is the best thing for them, if that isn't available then the very best quality hay free choice you can give them. Not big on grain myself.
