Has anyone premade jalapeno poppers (im gonna mix cream cheese and carmelized onions and bacon for the middle) and freeze them so that all you have to do the day of party just bake? Will the peppers be soggy or mushy? These wont be breaded and will be baked. Thanks

We do this all the time and they come out great. In fact, at the end of summer, we pick all of our peppers and make a huge batch and freeze them - in ziplok bags. We eat them all Winter!

I burned the skin off and cleaned jalapeños from the garden and froze them. I did not pre stuff because part of what I dislike about the store bought frozen ones is that the filling seems grainy? I didn’t know if that was from freezing the cream cheese or not.
Still makes them pretty quick to grab and stuff while still frozen, batter and fry.
The onions and bacon in the cream cheese sounds YUMMY!
Well I decided to gut my peppers and freeze them, and I carmelized onions and cooked the bacon and put in separate bags in the fridge, so all I have to do is put together. This saved me some time for the party day! Thanks everyone!
