Hey gal, I used one in the practice pen for a horse getting past the first and that was shaking her face when you asked for anything with the reins. The bit had more purchase than shank. It keeps her from diving down on the barrels like she was doing with her rider. It really seemed to help the mare and now the gal is running in it. I tried the bit with equal purchase to shank a few weeks ago on a big powerful gelding it really seems to fit him, he doesn't need a lot of rate however he's not shaping up for his turns. He too is touchy in his mouth. The team has made three runs in that bit and she feels like it's a fit.
You know me with my colts I put them on their honor and if they get away from me I have something in their mouth that gets their respect yet won't shread them. I like them to stay light and perfect bits just seem to help me in that.

Thank you!!! Ivs seen a ton of top girls doing really well using them since I've started researching them trying to find info. There's just not much out there on them! Thanks again for your reply! It's gave me good insight on it!
