Does the round have a tendency  to cause more saddle roll then square? I have a short backed horse I'm thinking of getting one for.

I'm curious about this as well, but I don't think so. I just traded in my treeless square skirt saddle for a smaller seated treeless round cut skirt saddle. I want to say no, but I'm unsure.

Just wanted to do a little update since no one else has responded. I just got my round skirt saddle in yesterday and there was no difference. Didn't roll getting on or riding around.

Thanks for the info! I did post the same question on FB and most said the same, no difference. Saddle roll seemed to be more associated with how the horse was built.
