Location: where the wind blows | So I thought I was hosting Christmas Day for 15-20. Now I'm down to 9-10. Would love some ideas of things to do to make the day fun. We are doing fun gift exchange with family a couple days before so that's out. We often play cards but just looking for any fun Christmas tradition things you all do to pass the day. |

| Decorating gingerbread houses is always a fun time- there's a really neat idea on Pinterest that uses big pretzel rods, and you can make a log cabin one! It could be a contest.
My family does a big white elephant gift exchange on Christmas Day, and usually a couple days before Christmas we do a huge scavenger hunt. My mom always plants the clues, my whole extended family and some family friends draw numbers for the teams and we head off into the city for a fun time! It normally includes singing Christmas carols at various locations, getting people at certain places to sign off that we were there, and ends at a brew house with prizes. |

Location: Somewhere around here | We do a BIG family bingo, where if you get a "bingo" you get a small or big prize, depending on what bag you grab. We had a lot of fun with that and younger kids can play it too! |

Should be fun even for kids and elders. |

| I grew up on a ranch and all the animals had to be fed first. We did outdoor things preferably riding horses but other things too. Still prefer to be outside just bundle up and go on. Have been trout fishing. That was a treat. Build a fire and work on some project. Around here you still see folks riding. Someone got a new saddle or a new horse and you just have to try those things out. |
