My experience with the circle y flex trees were just with special effx saddles. LOVED them, but they both ended up with nails popping out in a few places and not holding together anymore. I love close-ish to Caldwell Saddlery so I had emailed to ask about having them repaired. Turns out Charon won’t touch the flex trees because they’re made of rubber and the nails never hold, essentially rendering the saddles unsafe. Or something closely along those lines. So sadly, I won’t look at flex trees anymore. I should probably do my own research, but I haven’t.

I have a Lisa Lockhart Circle Y Flex2 barrel saddle (wide). I honestly can't tell it's a flex tree.
I do wish the workmanship (leather quality, etc) was better, but it's fits my horse perfectly and it's very comfortable for me. So I've been very happy so far.
