Anyone have experience with them?? I only bring my horses in and stall when it gets crazy negative windshields and was looking at them to keep water from freezing without electricity. Or does anyone have suggestions for a water for stalls in the winter?
I bought the smartpak one and have been pleased. It is -20 actual temp right now but around zero in our insulated barn. My bucket gets a layer of ice on it but is not frozen solid like the other horses in the barn. So yes they help for sure. Just depends on how cold they get. When temps are around 20 on the barn my bucket stays ice free.
Ive used them when we used to live in ny and were boarding in a womans backyard. She had temp stalls she had put plywood on the bars. They def helped (although my mare was found of pulling tops off and dunking them in water). Mine were from wild angel cozy.
These are the ones my friend uses. https://www.statelinetack.com/item/high-country-insulated-bucket/E000395%20BLU/?srccode=GPSLT&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIl4vP2NO12AIVj7fACh2iNw17EAQYAiABEgLZAvD_BwE&kwid=productads-adid^160636394091-device^c-plaid^264867173240-sku^169021-adType^PLA
