How much do you think a Back On Track leg wrap would help with a deep digital flexor tendon? (In conjunction with stall rest)

I just went through a DDFT in July. I say no to BOT because you don’t want heat in the leg. :)

My personal belief with a DDFT injury - and I’m in the minority but I respect everybody else’s beliefs so please don’t think I’m bashing - is that while a lot of these alternative therapies don’t hurt, they don’t help. I followed my vet’s recommended schedule of stall rest, hand walking, and under saddle. It was long and tedious but I truly believe that’s what this injury needs. I don’t think magnets will speed it up any. Certainly won’t hurt!! BOT I wouldn’t even chance because of the heat (but I love it for my wrists when they ache!).
I do own BOT and PHT.....but this is just how I feel on a DDFT injury.
Best of luck to your horse!!!!!!

PHT bell boot 24/7 helped mine. Healed in a month. Gave another month off just to be sure. Maybe I just got lucky but I'm a believer. Mine was only on stall rest for a few days. Mainly because he is safer in the pasture than confined.

The Pht will help with circulation of the blood for a faster healing, I used the PHT bell boots when my gelding was foundering and they helped a ton.
