Proverbs 20:12 Ears to hear eyes to see...the Lord made them both.
Like most people, I have to rely on reading glasses. If I don't use them the words are blurred. When I use them the blurr is instantly cleared. In our relationship with Jesus, we want to more than use reading glasses. We want to borrow His vision,,,the way He views people, life, eternal life, the way He sees us and those who have wronged us, the vision He has for loved ones we prayed for " forever" who seem no closer to the Truth than they were many years ago.
There is a song that says, " Give me Yôur eyes for just one second , Jesus, Give me Yôur eyes so I can see everything that I've been missing,". If you have ever had vision problems, you know the joy of slipping theses lenses in front of your eyes and finally seeing clearly. How would our lives change if we routinely adopte Jesus' vision acuity? Ask Jesus to let you borrow His eye so you can gain His perspective, especially on issues hs have seemed cloudy or fuzzy to you. For it is WITH God ALL things ARE possible.
Father God, guide me today to do all things that will bring glory and honor to Yôu. Jesus, allow me today and always to SEE Yôur perspective, to LISTEN to Yôur direction. Amen
