I like mine. Not super high-end, but it's nice. Seems to be well made. I only use mine a few times a year. Mostly local stuff, not more than a hundred miles away from home. The rear bumper of mine is a bad design. Since I tore it off once, I've been checking out other brands. Shadow needed to improve this and they might have, on newer models. But, on mine, the rear bumper hangs below the frame a little, so it will hang up on anything like railroad crossings or if you drop a tire off the edge in a turn. There should be some frame beams that would allow it to drag over things like that. Mine is Loooong, though. 4horse with LQ. It pulls really nicely, though. I have no slide out, I steered clear of them when I was looking because of the extra weight.

It leaks, but only way in the back, so I just live with it. This is an issue that might have been resolved with the previous owner, I dunno... but, my LQ interior stays dry as long as I keep the nose elevated a little (which I've always done, so I can't really say what would happen if water ran toward the front).

Oh... and when I ordered parts for my stud wall from their parts department... they were NOT easy to deal with. To their credit, between the first few phone calls and my follow up phone calls (because it took forever to get my parts ((then, they were the wrong size, but...))) they did resolve the issue I had with being able to get someone in parts to answer the phone. They gave the guy a company cell, I think. But, yeah... they sent the wrong size stud wall after a long delay in getting the parts to me. So, keep that in mind if you're planning on adding features to your trailer. I want a hay pod and generator, but I'm gunshy now after dealing with the parts dept. before. I'll do it if I can find a good aftermarket parts co.

Overall, I'd say that if you want something that you can neglect/abuse/use hard, I'd spend more on a better brand. But, if you take care of your stuff and don't use it hard, it'll hold up just fine.

Keep in mind, this is my first LQ, so I'm still in love. I don't have anything else to compare it to and I'm just thrilled that I found something I like and could afford!
