| Hey guys looking for some advice. Do any of you feed ONLY Omni cubes to your horses? Likes...dislikes?Also, I've been trying to find any info if the calcium/phosphorus ratio is balanced but haven't had any luck. Does anyone know the ratio? |

Location: West Texas | It is a little more balanced than straight alfalfa. About 5:1. When we used to feed it, we supplemented with trace mineral salt.

In my area nothing is balanced :( We are very very high in calcium and the other way in phos. So we feed a 12:12 to get that phos up there as high as we can. |

| Can anyone recommend a good mineral to supplement the phosphorus to balance it out? |

I use the Purina kind. There is another really good mineral but man it was expensive. https://www.kaydeefeed.com/ |

I have two I feed only Omnis cubes and they look and run awesome on it. My gelding had had EPM in the past so he gets 1/2 3qt scoop of oats once a day to put his Vitamin E and MSM in but other than that they have free choice grass hay, loose salt, and loose purina 12/12 mineral. |

Location: LouLouVille, OK | my horses absolutely LOVE them.... so much so... that my one filly, in the afternoon feeding, I give them a small amount of baled alfalfa from Nebraska, and she will throw her alfalfa out on the ground to get back to her cubes! LOL I said she doesn't like corn in her mashed potatoes! lol These have no oats, but alfalfa and I believe Timothy grass mix... I don't totally trust any cube persay, so I spray them with hot water, not soak, but spray because these do fall apart much easier then the bricks you buy in the local stores. and they love them. I started on this almost a month and half ago and so far I am thrilled. I do top dress with Blue Bonnet Omega Force, for the minerals, Vit E, Biotin and all that just to make myself feel better, but I couldn't be happier with them.... I also like the added fat the Omega brings to mine |
