We use the 5 stars as well, but with leather half breeds and latigos.
I like them, I think I’m going to try a shoulder relief cinch as well, I’ve heard good things |

| I have 2 of the never tight cinch by Len Brown. Pricey but like that I don’t have to cinch up too tight and saddle never budges. I also LOVE that at races I don’t have to cinch up extra tight before a run, I don’t have to adjust it at all from when I first get on and warm up. |

| I'm partial to my Smart Cinchs. I have a neoprene one for the spring so the hair washes off and switch to felt once they are done shedding.
I WOULD like to meet a Shoulder relief girth in person and try it on my saddle. |

Location: Northwest | Another vote for Len Brown's Never Tight. I can't tell you how many times I've gotten off after riding and I can stick my whole fist underneath the cinch and I had no idea while riding how loose it was. My saddle never roles. Ever. |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | I also love my Len Brown Never Tight. For all the same reasons stated above. My horse can breathe better during a run since the girth doesn’t need to squeeze the air out of her to keep the saddle on. Best money I ever spent on a piece of equipment. |

Location: Under The Big Sky Of Texas | If your saddle fits right and you have the right pad and your a balance rider I dont see having to cinch up so tight that your cutting your horses air off. I have never tighting my saddle tight I just snug it tight enought to were it dont roll when I get on. And maybe tighten just a snug more befor I run.. I have seen so many tighten up their saddles to wear the horses skin is so winkel up in layers, I dont think theres no need for that. Edit to ad: Thats why I like the roper style cinches, they stablize your saddle so much better.

| I like the Toklat girths. They are made with fleece and my horses seem really comfortable in them. I also have a 5star that I like too. It' seems to make a horse that's a little cinchy comfortable bc it has a little give to it |

I plan to get the fleece. I don’t like neoprene and I’m not a huge fan of felt, all my Smart cinches were felt and no matter how much I cleaned them seemed to build up hard spots and wrinkles very quickly. I’ll use my mohair 5 Star when they’re shedding really bad to save the fleece |

Location: In The Snow, AZ | I have the felt and have been happy with it. It did get hard spots after probably 4 months of heavy use on three horses. So I can’t complain. The other day I filled up a bucket of water and put it in for a few hours. Cleaned up just fine for me. But I’m not big on fleece or neoprene. |

What don't you like about the fleece? Just trying to determine if I want the felt or fleece.. |

I haven’t used fleece in a LONG time, so my opinion is a grain of salt. But the fleece cinches I’ve used seem to wad/mat up. Trail riding, they would collect anything I rode thru. Seemed to build up heat underneath. Granted, this was a long time ago. Lol. I feel as thought the felt wicks away the sweat, and my horses work very well in it. I wouldn’t touch a neoprene. If someone offered me a fleece one, I wouldn’t mind trying it. But i wouldn’t pay for fleece. |

Location: NE Texas | I have the shoulder relief cinch with the fleece. Just bought them during a black friday and after Christmas sale. I haven't gotten to ride enough to really see a huge difference in my horses, but so far, I really like how they are helping me saddle fit where it needs to and I don't feel like my girth is hanging in the wrong place. I can see what Bingo is saying about the fleece being an issue collecting debris if riding through brush or tall weeds. So far I like the fleece, but may change if needed to felt when it's time for a new liner. |

Thank you for your opinion! I don't ride through any brush whatsoever but I'm still torn with ordering the felt or fleece! I only ride one horse. He does sweat A LOT! |

I wonder if I get buy the fleece and don't like it, if I can just then buy the felt cover instead of buying another girth. |

I have no idea. I bought mine through a dealer and not directly from the company. |

| I have used neoprene and they just don’t work in some horses. I have fleece, felt and mohair or alpaca on hand! I like fleece but it is harder to clean. Felt isn’t always soft enough but it works. I like mohair and alpaca mostly in the summer or fall when they are shed off. |

Before I bought the never tight I rode in a very loose cinch at home but when making a barrel run I needed to snug it up. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I use the shoulder relief in fleece. Never had problems with matting up and balling but I take good care of my cinches. Before I cinch up I brush them out with a rubber curry and about every month or so I rinse them off which you should do with any cinch. |

Can’t speak to the shoulder reliefs but I’m a die hard Never Tight user. I own one in about every size and have used them on countless horses. |
